Text drafts and checklists only. This removes all tools, including the computer, so Noor cannot read exports with it on.
A connected bot could create or change entries if asked. The demo uses exports without an accounting connection. Its restraint is the work you asked for, not a lock on the books.
Keep a source beside each figure
Ask for the statement row, payout report or supplier thread in the workpaper. Open those sources and check the proposed match.
Remove access when you need to
Remove connections in Integrations. Managed connections are shared by your bots in the Space. Credentials are encrypted or held by the integration provider; they never go to the model.

Does One replace our bookkeeper or accountant?
No. One helps prepare and organise financial work. It is not a CPA firm and gives no tax, legal, audit or accounting advice. Your bookkeeper and accountant review the work, make accounting decisions and sign where required.
Can it move money or file anything?
The workflow shown here uses exports and produces files; it makes no payments, entries or filings. That is a workflow choice, not a blanket product lock. Connected tools can act, and bots act without asking by default. Turn on Ask before purchases and Ask before sending external email for the actions those controls cover. Neither is a general approval rule for accounting entries or filings. Leave posting, paying and submitting to a person in the original system.
Which accounting tools work with One, and what about Xero?
QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Zoho Books, Zoho Invoice, FreeAgent and Harvest are in the one-click catalogue, alongside Stripe and Square. Xero, NetSuite, PayPal, Brex, Ramp, Coupa and Gusto need a one-time setup that the hosted service does not have today. Start with their exports. A connection provides tools; it does not import or sync your books. Availability follows your deployment’s catalogue.
What happens to a line it cannot explain?
Ask Noor to keep it in Open items, with the amount, source and question. The demo shows a duplicate charge and changed bank details left for you. A proposed explanation still needs checking; AI can make mistakes.
Can it read scanned receipts?
A receipt photo attached in One’s web chat can be read by a model that sees images. The document reader has no OCR: scanned PDFs do not yield text. Use a text PDF, a CSV export or a receipt image in web chat. WhatsApp and Telegram cannot receive photos or files.
Who can use our QuickBooks connection?
Every one of your bots in that Space can use your managed app connection. It is not assigned per bot. Depending on the tools and permissions, they can create or change entries if asked. There is no QuickBooks-specific approval setting. Use exports without a connection if you want this workflow to have no accounting-app access; you can remove connections in Integrations.
Who owns the books, and can we leave?
Your books stay in your accounting system. One does not become your ledger. Download workpapers from Files and export Records as CSV, so the pack can go with you and your accountant.
Where does our financial data go?
Files are processed on the configured bot computer; the configured model receives the content needed for the task. Connected apps use the workspace’s integration provider.
